Alice ‘delighted’ by decision to save the Walk in Centre

Alice welcomes the news that Norwich’s Walk in Centre will be saved following an announcement by the local NHS. Together, Alice Macdonald and Norwich South MP Clive Lewis, launched a campaign to save the centre on Rouen Rd, which was at risk of closure.

Over 2,000 people signed a petition to save the centre which Alice and Clive handed to NHS leaders. Alice would like to personally thank the thousands of people across Norwich North who stood up and made their voices heard. The decision shows that change can happen when we work together for the good of our community.

If elected to government Labour has pledged one of the biggest NHS workforce expansions in history, which will see it double the number of medical school places and create 10,000 new nursing and midwifery placements.
