Road safety has been a concern shared by many local residents at the White House Farm estate in Sprowston. From unsafe parking around school pick-up and drop-off time at the local school, to accidents caused by ungritted roads on Atlantic Avenue.
I’ve had many queries and concerns come in from residents, and after attending school pick-up to see the situation first hand, many school staff and parents told me about their worries for children’s safety.
I’ve been meeting with housing developers and Norfolk City Council to resolve this issue, working to ensure the long-promised road adoption on and around the estate take place as quickly as possible. Whilst I have been in touch with Norfolk County Council they have not provided me with a clear timelineĀ forĀ adoption.
Help us speed up the process, and petition the County Council to adopt these roads as a matter of urgency.
