Every child in Norwich North deserves the chance to succeed, but too many are being left behind—especially those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
There is a serious SEND crisis in our region and too many children are being left behind because there aren’t enough places in mainstream schools or transport to areas where there are, is too expensive or unavailable.
That’s why I’m campaigning to repurpose the Angel Road Junior School, closed in 2021 because of a faulty roof, as a specialist SEND school – to provide education for those with additional needs in the heart of my constituency and begin to ease the pressure on the system.
Trust in politics is at an all-time low and I can understand why many people simply don’t feel politics works for them.
I will work my hardest to restore trust and show that politicians are not all the same. That’s why I have been out and about speaking to so many people across Norwich North to hear your concerns.
