Why I'm campaigning For Health

Access to quality healthcare is the number one issue I hear about from residents across Norwich North. After 14 years of Conservative mismanagement, our NHS is broken—but together, we can fix it.

Campaign 1

Save the Norwich Walk-In Centre

Once again, the Local NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) has floated the idea of closing the Norwich Walk-In Centre on Rouen Road.

When we campaigned to save the centre in 2023, the people of Norwich made their voices heard, with 2,300 signing our petition and succeeding in keeping the Walk-In Centre open.
The centre serves 7,200 patients a year and plays a key role in reducing A&E pressure at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
Unfortunately, we’re here again, as the ICB has begun consulting on the centre’s closure.
We’ve saved it before, and we can do it again!

Tackling the Dental Crisis

Norfolk has been described as a “Sahara of dental deserts”, and I am committed to improving dental care in our region.

Norfolk is the only area in the UK without a dental school.
I am campaigning with UEA to start an undergraduate dental course to train new dentists and increase access to care.

My Promise To You

Trust in politics is at an all-time low and I can understand why many people simply don’t feel politics works for them.

I will work my hardest to restore trust and show that politicians are not all the same. That’s why I have been out and about speaking to so many people across Norwich North to hear your concerns.

As your MP, I will:

Be your strong voice in parliament – speaking up on the issues that matter to you.
Be a full-time MP – unlike many, I would never take a second job.
Always listen to you – I hold regular constituency surgeries as well as being visible and accessible.
Champion our great county and fine city – I’m proud to be from Norfolk and will stand up for investment in our area.
And I’ll always be honest with you – I won’t make promises I can’t keep.
